1.  PEACE OF MIND

A.  We want you to be happy with your purchase!  Please read each listing and ask any questions before you bid.  We make best efforts to respond to each email within one business day.  We take seriously the trust that you place in us when you buy something from us.  We are firmly committed to giving you peace of mind, so we offer a solid warranty on each item we sell.  We have also agreed to the standards put forth by BuySAFE and SquareTrade.

B. Warranty:  Each item is sold with a 30 day money-back warranty.  If you are unhappy with your item, just send it back at your expense and we'll cheerfully refund your purchase price and initial shipping cost.  Please just return everything pictured in each listing in the same condition we sent it.

C.  BuySAFE:  Our word is our bond.  Literally. Twin-Dad has qualified, as a BuySAFE Bonded Seller, to show the BuySAFE seal on each of our listings. Every purchase you make with us is guaranteed - up to $25,000.In addition, you can be confident that we will live up to our terms of sale, because a surety bond protects you on each purchase.  To learn more, please visit any BuySAFE link on the left side of the listing page.

D.  SquareTrade:  Twin-Dad meets or exceeds the five SquareTrade selling standards, with each customer and throughout each transaction.  This commitment lets us carry the SquareTrade Seal on all of our listings.  We have also agreed to promptly and professionally resolve any customer disputes.  To learn more, please visit any SquareTrade link on the left side of the listing page.

2.  BIDDING

Once you click "Bid" or "Buy It Now" you are committing to buy that item.  Please do not ask to retract your bid.

3.  PRIVACY

4.  FEEDBACK

Twin-Dad appreciates your business.  We leave positive feedback when our Terms have been met and we have received positive feedback.

5.  PAYMENT

A.  Twin-Dad prefers PayPal.  We also welcome your payment through other online payment options including BidPay, CheckFree Auction Payments, e-gold, GoldMoney, iKobo, Moneybookers, QChex, StormPay and YowCow.  We accept all currencies that are supported by each of these payment options.  We only accept online payments when we will ship to your confirmed address.  Please do not provide us with an unconfirmed address.

B.  Cashier's checks, money orders or bank-to-bank wire transfers are also welcome, as is cash at time of pick-up.  Receipts for cash payments are always provided.  Personal and business checks are also welcome, but must clear our bank before your item will be shipped or made available for pick-up.  All bank-to-bank wire transfers, paper and in-person payments must be in U.S. dollars.

C.  Other forms of payment are not accepted at this time.

D.  If you want your item shipped, you may use any of the payment methods in paragraphs 5.A and 5.B above.  If you want to pick up your item, you may only use the payment methods in paragraph 5.B above.

E.  If you want to pay for your purchase with GoldMoney, we would convert your total due from U.S.  dollars to GoldGrams based on the most recent closing price of the XAU gold index.  We would use the currency tables that XE.com maintains, or an equivalent, to obtain the most recent XAU closing price.  One ounce (avoirdupois, not troy) is equivalent to 28.349525 grams.  Therefore, if an item totals $50 and the most recent XAU closing price is $400 per ounce, then the total would be equivalent to 3.544 GoldGrams ($50 / $400 x 28.349525 grams = 3.544 gg).

F.  Your winning bid plus all shipping and insurance costs must be paid in full before your item will be shipped.  We file unpaid item disputes for any unpaid or partially paid item.

G.  If you want your item shipped, we must receive full payment within three business days after your purchase.

H.  If you want to pick up your item, we must receive full payment within seven calendar days after your purchase.

I.  If any payment terms are not met, then our obligations to the initial winning bidder are void, and we will offer the item to the next-highest bidder or re-list it at our discretion.

6.  SHIPPING INSURANCE

A.  Insurance is required if an item sells for $100 or more, and for shipment to any international address.

B.  Insurance is optional for any item under $100 shipped to a U.S. address.  We will refund the insurance amount within one business day if these conditions apply and you ask for the refund when you make your payment.  Otherwise, you agree to pay for shipping insurance.

C.  DHL, Fedex and UPS automatically insure packages up to $100 at no extra cost, so this section usually relates only to items shipped by the U.S. Postal Service.

7.  SHIPPING

A.  Worldwide shipping is available via your choice of common carrier, subject to U.S. export laws.  We are happy to use DHL, FedEx or UPS in addition to the U.S. Postal Service.  You are welcome to buy multiple items to save on shipping.  The shipping calculator automatically figures your combined shipping costs for multiple listings on the "Auctions I'm Watching" tab.

B.  Please use the shipping calculator included on each listing to determine your shipping costs.

C.  Unless stated otherwise in each listing, your package will be shipped from Livermore California, zip code 94551.See the item details for weight and dimensions.

D.  If you pay with one of our accepted online payment options, we will only ship to that account's confirmed address.  Please do not provide us with an unconfirmed address.

E.  After your purchase, be sure to clearly indicate your shipping choice when you make your payment.  Twin-Dad makes best efforts to ship your item within one business day after payment is received.

F.  Depending on your chosen shipping method, the purchase price of your item and your location, we will email you a tracking number, delivery confirmation number or signature confirmation number at the time of shipment.  As with shipping insurance, we require signature confirmation if an item sells for $100 or more, and for shipment to any international address.

G.  Twin-Dad supports our troops and welcomes purchases from those serving in the military.  We gladly ship to Army and Fleet Post Offices.  We also ship to regular Post Office boxes of course, but please remember that only the Postal Service can deliver to PO Box and APO/FPO addresses.

H.  Keep in mind that shipping takes time.  Once the shipper has possession, we have no control over how long your package takes to arrive.

8.  LOCAL PICK-UP

A.  Instead of having your item shipped, you can pick it up.  Twin-Dad is located at Shurgard Storage, 4350 Technology Drive, Livermore, CA 94551, just off First Street behind Safeway and Lowe's.  Please email us for an appointment.  We make best efforts to respond to each email within one business day.  Our business hours are Monday through Friday 9-5, and Saturday 10-4, Pacific Time.  We're closed on Sundays and holidays.

B.  As noted above, if you want to pick up your item, you may only use the payment methods in paragraph 5.B above.

C.  Our space is limited.  We ask that you pick up your item within seven calendar days after your purchase.  There is no pick-up fee, but there is a $10 broken appointment fee.  In addition, if your item is not picked up within seven calendar days we charge a $1 per day storage fee, retroactive to your purchase date.  All fees must be paid in full before your item will be released.

D.  Any item unclaimed after thirty calendar days will be returned to inventory.  Our obligations to the initial winning bidder are then void.  Any payment made will be promptly refunded, less any fees as described above.  We will then offer the item to the next-highest bidder or re-list it at our discretion.

9.  GIFT WRAPPING

Twin-Dad welcomes your gift purchases.  We provide gift wrap and tag services for $5.00 per item.  Please add this amount to your payment, and let us know what you want the gift tag to say.  We aren't calligraphers but our handwriting is neat and we will write your personal message exactly as you request.  We will ship your gift wherever you want, but - as noted above - if you pay with one of our accepted online payment options, we will only ship to that account's confirmed address.

10.  TAXES

A.  Sales tax for California buyers is included in your purchase price, not added to it.  If an item is for resale, email or fax us a complete and legible copy of your California Seller's Permit for a credit toward your purchase price.

B.  Any customs fees, taxes or other duties for buyers outside the USA must be paid by the buyer at time of delivery.  Any such costs are not our responsibility.  Please do not ask us to reduce an item’s value on any customs form.  Unless you pay for gift wrapping as described above, please do not ask us to declare an item as a gift.
